FACTS is an annual convention taking place in the beautiful Flemish city of Ghent (Belgium). As tradition demands in the meantime, the International Congress Center (I.C.C.), located in the lush green City Park of Ghent, is the host location for the event. The I.C.C. offers ample accommodation for events such as FACTS, with restaurants, pubs, banks and parking space within walking distance.

FACTS is short for Fantasy, Anime, Comics, Toys and Science-fiction and that immediately provides a summary of the program for the convention: it�s a collectibles fair and meeting place for the terminally-contaminated fans of cult films. It is called, quite correctly, the biggest Science-Fiction convention in the entirety of the Benelux.

This year, 2007, FACTS is already up to its 17th edition; it is scheduled to take place in the weekend of 13 and 14 October 2007.

Every year, the FACTS organization invites a number of guest stars, who will spend their time at the convention socializing with the visitors and selling autographs.

Amy Allen aka Aayla Secura

Amy Allen left Los Angeles at 18 to move to San Francisco where she majored in Film at San Francisco State University. Soon after graduating, Allen went to work for Industrial Light & Magic. As a production assistant she worked on several films before going to work on Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.
As Episode II was nearing the finish line, George Lucas spotted a cover of the Dark Horse Comics Star Wars title featuring a blue-skinned female Jedi that really caught his eye. Soon after, gorgeous Amy was outfitted as Twi'lek Jedi Aayla Secura.
Since taking on this role, Allen has made several convention appearances around the U.S., Japan and Europe, FACTS being her next convention stop.
Currently, Allen continues to work on feature films behind-the-camera.
