Yord Fandar, Knight of the Jedi Order, is an exemplar of Jedi ability. He is highly trained, devoutly disciplined, and dedicated to the defense of the Republic.
It’s the GAYEST Star Wars ever! And it bombed faster than the insufferable Rachel Zegler’s Snow White remake. There are still blue-haired and purple-haired freaks on Bluesky hopelessly in denial that The Acolyte Season 2 is forthcoming. Bless their hearts. It doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of happening, thank the Maker. The Acolyte was the WORST performing Star Wars “anything,” including The Star Wars Holiday Special, and that’s quite a feat since that was probably the worst media event in the Star Wars timeline to date. But as The Acolyte evaporates into nothingness and is forgotten forever, Hasbro is doubling down and continuing to produce action figures that no one but lesbians and male feminists will want to add to their collections. Disney Star Wars sunk to new lows with The Acolyte. And the Disney Grooming Syndicate repeatedly proves that they hate its core audience by producing drivel of this nature. Sadly, Hasbro produced stunning action figures, and we’ll have to take one for the team by reviewing this figure.
Dopey-looking Jedi Knight Yord Fandar seems like more of the same from this awful series, but it is one of the few male characters, so it should interest Hasbro’s core audience. But the actor who played this character is a laughingstock. This guy said Anakin was “bad” for blowing up the Death Star. And that Star Wars is all about blurring the lines between good and evil, that those opposites don’t exist. We can’t roll our eyes harder. With too much yellow and brown in the costumes, modern slang, and haircuts, these Jedi are not especially interesting. The action figure, however, is well-made, and if you’re clever with your set-ups, you could easily add this to a “Battle of Geonosis” display from Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones. The all-new action figure is well-designed and beautifully painted. Hasbro perfectly fitted the soft-goods robe for the action figure’s more slender and athletic stature. We only wish Hasbro had included an interchangeable shirtless torso so we could recreate that cringey iconic scene.
Hasbro faithfully duplicated all the details on the face and replicated the character’s features, especially the facial structure and hairstyle. The soft goods pair well with the molded figure and fitted, which is a nice touch. But once you remove the cloak, you’ll see how gaudy some costume parts are. For example, Jedi Knight Yord Fandar comes with gold gauntlets. And the bright orange tunic is glaring. The action figure is quite colorful and doesn’t seem to fit in well with the rest of the Jedi produced for the line, especially characters from the Prequel Trilogy. Hasbro included the standard accessories here, including the aforementioned soft-goods cloak, hilt, and fully lit lightsaber. All the accessories interact beautifully with the action figure. Jedi Knight Yord Fandar utilizes the latest technology for its articulation system, so the figure poses wonderfully. The card art is about average. We want Hasbro to put more elbow grease into the packaging. Revising the placement of the character photo and reducing the bubble size will go a long way with collectors.
