All different types of droids populate the Star Wars galaxy. Each droid is different and has their own unique personality and colors. This droid can be found wandering the bleak swamps of Corvax Fen on Mustafar. Join R5-Z0MB on their adventures throughout the galaxy.

May the Force be with you... and your Droids!

Another year and another Halloween means another Droid Factory character to celebrate the annual holiday. This time, collectors treat collectors to R5-Z0MB, which, judging from the name, is inspired by a zombie from the classic horror genre. This droid looks more like Frankenstein’s monster than the walking dead, but we suppose Disney did well here by thinking outside the box. We’re specifically referring to the dome, which has a section “bitten” out of it. The coloring of the droid is a bit odd, but perhaps Disney didn’t have a clear direction on how to replicate a zombie on an astromech canvas. The figure comes with the standard eight points of articulation, including a swivel dome, swivel legs, hinge-jointed feet, and rolling wheels. The figure has more movement than you might think and fits beautifully into an array of displays. We’re certainly amassing a large collection of Halloween-themed droids for our Star Wars collection. We wonder how long it will be until the well runs dry for Disney to create unique monster-inspired droids. But we can think of a bunch they haven’t tapped yet, including a wolfman and mummy. R5-Z0MB is nothing earth-shattering, but it is a lovely addition to the Droid Factory lineup.
