The Star Wars Retro Collection is inspired by the 1980s STAR WARS figures and features original figure design and detailing! Continue your collection from the galaxy far, far away!

We finally have our Lumpy action figure from The Star Wars Holiday Special. What was Hasbro thinking when they produced the Retro Collection Krrsantan action figure? It is about the same size as the 1978 Star Wars Chewbacca figure and has no brute or brawn to set it apart from the Wookiee we know the most. From what we understand, Chewbacca was one of the runts of the Wookiee species, and we’ve seen from The Book Of Boba Fett just how huge Krrsantan is to many other characters in the Star Wars universe. However, that doesn’t translate into this action figure, which is a terrible shame. Aside from the size issue, look at the figure’s likeness. It doesn’t look like a threatening Wookiee warrior or a bounty hunter. It seems like a smaller-sized Wookiee member from Chewbacca’s family from The Star Wars Holiday Special. It’s uncanny. Krrsantan comes with a removable harness that is easy to remove and replace. And this Wookiee bounty hunter comes with a large blaster rifle that fits into either hand quite well. This figure’s paint operations are simple and have one shade of color. Judging from The Black Series or The Vintage Collection interpretations of this character, we know the fur has multiple shades. The figure’s molded fur and body shape also help to further work against Krrsantan’s likeness. And with all this said, we didn’t anticipate the Retro Collection Krrsantan figure to turn out differently than it has. These Kenner-inspired action figures are a novelty for modern Star Wars action figure collectors. This line aims to fill in the gaps where Kenner wasn’t in existence to create action figures from the contemporary Disney Star Wars entertainment. Krrsantan has an MSRP of $11.99 and is part of an eight-figure assortment, many of which are repacks of past Retro Collection action figures.
