The Star Wars Retro Collection is inspired by 1970s STAR WARS figures and features original figure design and detailing! Continue your collection from the galaxy far, far away!

The Retro Collection is a controversial line for many reasons, but it becomes almost painful when Hasbro releases characters in it that have yet to be produced for the collector-focused The Vintage Collection line first. Many are forthcoming in the super-articulated lineup, but do they have to pour salt in the wound when collectors are desperate for these characters in the line they care about most? The entire Star Wars community adores Ahsoka Tano, and 3.75-inch super-articulated collectors want every incarnation of the beloved Togruta Jedi. But Hasbro decided to tease us with a 5POA Retro Collection version instead. The figure is about average. It doesn’t have a fantastic likeness, but you can tell Hasbro tried its best to recreate a fair resemblance to the on-screen character. They did an excellent job with the paint operations, and we don’t see any indication of overspray and sloppy paint operations. Yes, you’ll find a simple paint job on this figure, but you shouldn’t expect anything else in this line. Ahsoka Tano comes with the standard five points of articulation. The head has excellent movement despite having head tails. Ahsoka Tano comes with a white lightsaber and a white shoto. Hasbro designed them with inspiration from the lightsaber accessories that first arrived with 1908’s ESB Luke Skywalker (Bespin Fatigues) figure. Overall, Ahsoka Tano looks best on the card. Hasbro designed a gorgeous card for this figure that captures the mystery and the energy of Asoka Tano. But until we have the version from The Vintage Collection, we don’t anticipate too many people will be content with this release.
