Typical of the many DULOKS (distant cousins of the EWOKS), who live in the swamps on ENDOR.

As you go through the four Duloks that Kenner made in 1985, you'll find that they all look pretty different from one another. That is a straightforward assessment, but it's remarkable the vast differences that exist in these four characters from the EWOKS television series. The Dulok Scout is the "generic army builder" of the set, and it almost throws the precedent set in the line in the water. But with so many Duloks featured in the series, Kenner needed to find a way to give new collectors the "Stormtroopers" of the EWOKS television show. The Duloks hate Ewoks, and that's essentially the storyline throughout the series. The Dulok Scout comes with a wooden club. Kenner etched out a section near its smaller end to provide a handle or a way for the figure to hold the club without difficulty. It attaches to both hands beautifully, and aside from the lack of articulation, the Dulok Scout comes properly armed and looks great among the other figures in the line. All four Duloks have distinct green-colored fur. Not one comes with the same shade of green. However, in the television series, we don't see the disparity in the shades of green of their fur, unlike the action figures present. Regardless, Dulok Scout is an underappreciated action figure, and it's unlikely we'll ever see it produced in the modern Star Wars toy line.
