See-Threepio (C-3PO)

General analysis!

A protocol DROID conversant in over 6MM forms of communication. He is seeking a new master with his friend R2-D2.

Who can forget growing up with C-3PO (Removable Limbs) from THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK line of Kenner action figures? Hasbro felt that this version of See-Threepio (C-3PO) made the most sense for the DROIDS line in 1985. So, they repainted the figure to match the animated interpretation of our most-favorite protocol droid and created one of the most sought-after action figure collectibles from the original Kenner line. See-Threepio (C-3PO) doesn't break any new ground when it comes to the character's design, but it's nearly unrecognizable thanks to revised paint operations to match the animated DROIDS television series. The figure doesn't come with a cargo net to store its parts, but you can remove the limbs as needed to recreate any battle-damage the protocol droid sustains during its adventures in the DROIDS timeline. The colors are vibrant, and the personality exudes charm. And it's easily one of our favorite action figures from the classic Kenner lineup. Not easily found in stores, Kenner quickly canceled the DROIDS line before the second wave of figures in 1986 could get released. Oh, and if you're into trivia, See-Threepio (C-3PO) comes with two distinct coin variations. One is a gold-colored version of The Power Of The Force figures. The other version features a revised animated character interpretation of See-Threepio (C-3PO) with a DROIDS-specific bio on the back.
