The Sith Trooper is an elite soldier that draws inspiration and power from a dark and ancient legacy.

The Sith Trooper is the symbol of Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise Of Skywalker. Because of this, collectors can expect the character to be produced in every scale of the Hasbro Star Wars line. We have a figure from The Vintage Collection. We have a figure from The Black Series [Phase III] 6” line. And we also have the 12-Inch Figure version in The Rise Of Skywalker line, also known as the “shampoo bottle” version. Hasbro’s come far in the 12-Inch Figures line. The earliest figures were terrible. But the sculpting and detail have become so advanced that the simply articulated figures look rather impressive. Encased in bright red plastic, the Sith Trooper is now part of the 12-Inch Figures scale and captures the design of the character from The Rise Of Skywalker. Based on the trailers, it appears there are a ton of these First Order troopers in Episode IX. It will be interesting to see their role in the film.

Subtle changes to characters we love are part of the Star Wars experience. We would begin to question if our most favorite characters in the films didn’t go through subtle metamorphoses. Whether it be slight additions to armor, or completely different colored armored plating, getting a new version of the troopers in Star Wars is an exciting thing. The shape and style of the Sith Trooper vary from the First Order Stormtroopers we saw in the first two Sequel Trilogy films. With scoring texture throughout the helmet and the rest of the armor, the design of the Sith Trooper is unlike anything we’ve seen so far in the Sequel Trilogy. With so many First Order Stormtroopers released in the various scales thus far, it’s nice to get one that looks like no others thus far in the line. With sharper detail, but still reminiscent of the all-white stormtroopers, the Sith Trooper stands out.

Sith Trooper is an all-new figure. Part of the kids’ focused 12-Inch Figure line, the Sith Trooper comes with only seven points of articulation. The addition of two swivel wrists helps with posing the figure with the included First Order blaster, but overall these figures can’t do much of anything but stand around. The plastic of the Sith Trooper was cast in a beautiful shiny red color, and the quality of the plastic is consistent throughout. The included First Order blaster is not red like the versions that come with the small-scaled figure. This time it is gray (completely). Hasbro’s 12-Inch Figures aren’t exquisite collectibles, but they serve a purpose for kids that like larger toys. The figures allow them hours of play while developing motor skills while introducing them to articulation and how action figures can move. Also, some kids like having larger representations of the characters they see in Star Wars films too.
