Jedi Masters T'ra Saa and Tholme battle their own personal difficulties during the Clone Wars. T'ra Saa is severely wounded when bounty hunters attack a triage unit she is overseeing on Null. Her close friend Tholme is alarmed when circumstances indicate that fellow Jedi Quinlan Vos has truly turned to the dark side.

The Star Wars: Republic series is definitely a fan favorite comic book series for many reasons. It has introduced multiple new Jedi and other characters while the stories themselves are set in very familiar settings. And probably more importantly, the comics showcase some of our most favorite Jedi in some extreme action and interacting in ways that the films just cannot capture. Hasbro takes another stan at the Star Wars: Republic series, but it isn't too often that Hasbro releases two lovebirds in the same pack. But they did with the T'ra Saa/Tholme Comic Packs set. The two-pack is great and has very few problems and it introduces the first action figure of another female Jedi. Very busty, nostril-less, but very beautiful, T'ra Saa is released with awesome results. T'ra Saa, who was Tholme's peer (a Jedi Master) were involved and while it is a "no-no", it perhaps was a little more appropriate than a Jedi/Padawan relationship. Still, it is forbidden for a Jedi to love, so it perhaps explains why these two Jedi Masters experienced so much difficulty in their quest to protect the order. Star Wars: Republic goes into some extensive details of their relationship and it is a very intriguing tale. And the action figures in this Comic Packs set should intrigue collectors.

Hasbro did a fine job on both of the action figures and we think they also did a great job on their likenesses. But T'ra Saa didn't come out as "pretty" as her comic book character. In fact, she has a "Medusa thing" going on with her portrait (her hair in particular). Don't get us wrong because we still think the action figure is great, but perhaps it could have been tweaked just a bit more to make it better. She has a little bit of a mean and unsettling look. But while her "look" may not be ideal, you'll be happy to know that she does have many positive points. Perhaps the most impressive part of her are her soft-goods robes. Between the sleek cut and generous length, the robes have a beautiful drape and look fantastic when you position her in action poses. Her colors are done in earth tones and very fine attention to details was exercised on different parts of her costume. Her limbs are in perfect proportion to her body and he hands are quite small and delicate. Her costume design is not that similar to the images shown in the included comic book, but we still it looks great. She should make Star Wars: Republic fans very ecstatic and she definitely brings a whole new level of uniqueness to the Jedi Order. T'ra Saa is a great action figure and Hasbro did a good job on translating her from the two dimensional comics. She is eerily beautiful and sexy and interacts with Tholme wonderfully.

Tholme on the other hand is not as exciting as T'ra Saa, but we think his execution was a little more micro-managed. Not looking as distinguished as his comic book counterpart, Tholme doesn't appear to have as many signs of battle weariness from the Clone Wars on his face in comparison to what can be seen in the Star Wars: Republic series. But, he is very well designed and we love his cane. His eye doesn't look as injured as it should be, especially for someone who took a lightsaber hit to the eye. Still, there is a scar coming down his eye, so we are thankful to get that much. He has a long ponytail that has a little bit of an awkward position, but it still looks good. We love his shins. This sounds weird, but he has some armor on his right leg that look spectacular. And since his outfit is mostly a Jedi's robes, the "metal" accent looks really cool. Both T'ra Saa and Tholme can hold their respective weapons and accessories and we are happy that Hasbro really gets this right now. Nothing is more frustrating that a figure that can't hold its accessories. Tholme's left hand is not in a closed position, but he can lean into the can and for this we are thrilled. Overall, this Comic Packs set is very good and it is part of a set of five final ones Hasbro released right before the end of the Legacy Collection. This is it for now. It was a great run and we hope that it may see the light of day at least one more time. But with anything, we have to make sure that we vote with our dollars.
